From Game Nights to College Classes: Western Covenant University Brings Haggleoff Card Game to Bachelor’s in Business Negotiation Course
Share
We have some incredible news to share! The Haggleoff Card Game is officially taking its high-stakes deal-making from game nights into the college classroom.
Starting April 6, 2026, for the Spring Quarter, Western Covenant University is deploying Haggleoff as an official teaching and training tool in their undergraduate business program for BBA 310: Sales Management and Negotiation.
A New Era of Active Learning
In an attempt to drive deeper student engagement, university faculty turned to Haggleoff to bridge the gap between textbook negotiation theory and real-world execution.
In today's digital landscape—where artificial intelligence can easily draft essays and complete online assignments—Haggleoff offers a breath of fresh air. You can't ask ChatGPT to negotiate on your behalf when you're sitting face-to-face across a table with your peers!
By replacing traditional static assignments with live gameplay, professors can directly observe how well students understand key sales and negotiation concepts in real time. To succeed in the game, students have to actively negotiate, persuade, counter offer, adapt, and read the room.
What Is The Haggleoff Card Game About?
Get rich by investing in various industries. Negotiate, trade, and sweet-talk your way through deals. Go into debt—or ride out a full-blown real estate bubble. Play the philanthropist for those morally convenient tax breaks. Battle the legal system with political influence—and maybe a judge or two in your pocket.
Just like the real world—only way more fun, and the only thing you’ll write off is your conscience.
Bringing Real-World Negotiation to Your Table
Whether you're a business student testing your sales tactics or just looking for an unforgettable tabletop experience with friends, Haggleoff Card Game proves that the best way to master negotiation is to get out from behind the screen and start dealing.
We want to extend a massive thank you to the faculty at Western Covenant University for championing active learning and bringing Haggleoff to the next generation of business leaders!
